South Dakota’s home building industry strong, connected, and future-focused.

At the South Dakota Home Builders Association, our work has always gone beyond the jobsite. The homes our members build shape neighborhoods and communities across the state, but the impact of our association reaches even further.

Being advocates means standing up for the people and businesses that make up our industry. SDHBA works to ensure that the voice of home builders, contractors, suppliers, and trades professionals is heard when decisions are made that affect housing and construction in South Dakota.

Being innovators means looking ahead. Our industry is constantly evolving, and our members are always finding better ways to build, train the next generation of skilled professionals, and strengthen the workforce that keeps our communities growing.

And being leaders means showing up—volunteering our time, supporting our local associations, mentoring students, and investing in the future of the building trades.
