Lake Area Technical Institute Takes Over Carpentry Apprenticeship Program

After three years of growing success through the provision of many classes and programs, including the Carpentry Apprenticeship Program, Brooking Economic Development Corporation and Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI) have partnered to provide these services effective March 1, 2017. This partnership will significantly enhance the delivery of workforce development services.

Lindsie Bartley, former campus director for SDEC, is now employed by LATI as a Business Partner Specialist for the Brookings region.
